How to make a reservation

Before using your mobile Wifi router, please make a reservation.


It takes about half a day (Business day) to activate you Wifi router after making a reservation, we recommend making a reservation in advance.

From [My Page] on the upper right of UNIVERSAL Mobile Website, log in with your email address and password you registered when you registered as a member.



Go to [UNIVERSAL Wifi] and press [Wifi rental form] 


Enter or select the required Wifi Information according to the screen.




④After confirming your reservation details, if there is no mistake, press [Confirm reservation].


Your reservation is now complete.



How to check your reservation details


You can check the details of your reservation from [UNIVERSAL Wifi] on My Page.


Change or cancel reservation details


Please contact UNIVERSAL Mobile Customer Support for any changes to your reservation (schedule changes or extensions) or cancellations.

UNIVERSAL Mobile Pocket WiFi User Guide


〈Turn on WiFi〉

1. Press and hold for 3 seconds to turn the device on. Please wait about 40 seconds for the display to turn on.

2. Choose SSID showing on your devices (cellphone, tablet, laptop, etc.)

3. Enter the password on your devices. (the password in on the display of the WiFi)

〈Display Screen

Display is showing Battery, Network connection status, and Device information(SSID, PASS)

When the device is not operated, the screen will automatically turn off after 60 seconds. 

Short press the power button to light the screen.

※Display is not a touch panel, the display cannot be switched.

※ WiFi connection will not be established automatically if read the QR code on the display. Please search for the SSID on your device and enter the PASS manually to connect.

〈Turn off WiFi〉

1. Press and hold untill[Device is shutting down...]showing on the device.

2. The display will turn off after about 10 seconds.

※Please do not push hard the power button to avoid breaking down.

※Please do not use any other buttons or functions.



After connecting to WiFi, it will be available to use for up to 15 hours with a full battery. 

However, we recommend that you turn on the WiFi only when used and charge it frequently                                                                        because the available time may be changed depending on usage or working conditions.


<How to resolve the connection problem>

  • Restart the Pocket WiFi and connection destination.

  • Reduce the number of connection destinations.

  • Reconnect to the WiFi after a while.

  • Check if WiFi is disconnected because of some reasons.
